Scroll to view an array of illustration work — from physical to digital media, illustration is one of my favorite ways to tell a story.

Incorporating this skill into designs gives numerous opportunities for unique and
eye-catching projects.

Cultural Diversity Series

A series of illustrations depicting how 8 different cultures honor the death of loved ones. These digital illustrations were also physically printed using a risograph machine. I chose pink ink to further correlate with the duality of death and celebration.

JMU
Potty Mouth

Posted in bathroom stalls across campus, Potty Mouth is a JMU exclusive publication featuring events and resources aimed at promoting well-being and student involvement.

Working as a graphic designer with JMU Student Communications Affairs and Marketing, I was given the oppurtunity to design the April 25' edition.

Universal Language

This series demonstrates arts ability to be a universal language. Inspired by traditional Japanese art, these animated illustrations gives meaning to the symbols we otherwise may not recognize.

Not only does this series capture the motion of the featured typography, it also incorporates sound. Click on each image to see the animation, and turn your volume on for the full experience!

Thrifting Advocady

This series uses illustration to promote the importance of shopping second hand and donating your old clothes. These designs reflect that thrifting is not only great for the planet, but for your wardrobe too!

I created a trendy set of buttons to enhance one's style, while advocating their favorite second hand shop. The mural I designed gets straight to the point; save your money, save our planet!
